Shipping and Shipping Rates on Genny

We know shipping is one those those stressful things that can greatly impact your bottom line as a small business. That's why Genny is relieving the stress and managing rates, methods and label generation for you! Here are some of this important details to know about Shipping on Genny:

Enable Shipping:

Before you can get shipping, you need to turn it on!

1. Login to your Genny Shopkeep Dashboard > Your Settings > Shipping Methods
2. Under Action click "Enable".
   

Configure Global Shipping:

Now that USPS Shipping is Enabled, you'll need to set-up a default box/package size for your orders. 

1. A new button has appeared above Enabled, "Global Configuration". Click it!
2. Enter a value in each field. This can be a box or mailer size you commonly use.
   
   Important: If you don’t know what to enter, don’t worry, just fill each field with “1”. When shipping an order, you’ll be able to tell USPS the real size and weight of the order your shipping.

Shipping Rates & Methods:

• Genny handles all the shipping costs and methods for you! We've partnered with USPS to make things cost-effective and easy.
• A Customer's shipping cost is based on the total weight of goods in their cart and the orders shipping destination.
• Customer's can choose from the following Shipping Methods:
  • USPS Ground Advantage: Delivered 2–5 Days from ship date
  • USPS Priority Mail: Delivered 2-3 Days from ship date
  • USPS Priority Mail Express: Delivered 1-3 Days from ship date

Shipping Promos & Specials:

• Customers will receive free USPS Ground Advantage shipping on order more than $100 per recipient address.
• Since Genny manages Shipping for you, you cannot offer special shipping rates or specials. But don't worry, we'll be running shipping specials on our end all the time!

Returns & Exchanges:

Return and Exchange requests (RMAs) are just one of those things that come with selling goods online. It's very important that you have a clear and concise Shipping & Returns Policy before beginning to sell on Genny.
