The title is drawn from James Crews' poem "The Practice of Connection," and the painting holds that same spirit: presence, togetherness, the quiet grace of being right where you are. Originally painted in acrylic, it's the kind of piece that opens up a room and fills it with a sense of ease.

Since these prints run flush to the edge with no white border, and mat openings vary slightly between manufacturers, a mat may crop the image a touch. Two easy fixes: position the print so the full horizon shows with just a sliver of sky trimmed, or skip the mat entirely and center the print on backing paper in an oversized frame for a dramatic white-border effect.
